Bloggers Quilt Festival

I am joining in at The Bloggers Quilt Festival over at Amy's Creative Side.
This is always such a fun few days looking at every ones blogs and getting a chance to chat with everyone who leaves comments!
I have been so busy planning my wedding that I haven't been sewing at all! Shocking, I know!!!
So, I am going to have to tell you all about a quilt I made earlier in the year.
It now lives on my couch and I snuggle with it every night, even when its not cold!

My Mum was interested in learning how to make quilts, so I got out 2 jelly rolls from my stash and we both made a quilt each.We sat side by side at my kitchen table each Tuesday until they were finished. We used the same pattern and the same fabrics.

You could say we have twin quilts : )

I just love how they turned out.

It would have to be my favourite quilt for sure!

Thanks for looking!!!

Your Wedding before sewing??? Girl we gotta work on your priorties - next thing you'll be doing is putting buying food in before buying fabric!!! Lovely quilt - great job!

That's a lovely quilt - hope it's big enough for two snugglers (congrats on your upcoming marriage, by the way!). Love your attitude to keep the blog positive - guess that's what the world needs.

Great fabrics, I like how the white sashing sets them off. This looks like the same pattern I used to make my guy a jewel tone batik quilt. I love the final quilt, but I hated the piecing. Not hard, just tedious!
